Please be advised that all requests for a medical or disability exemption are vetted through the College’s Center for Accessibility Services. If approved, a temporary pass or decal will be issued for the period needed to support the need.

Waivers for Sophomore students will also be reviewed for off-campus employment and educational purposes, such as clinical or internships. The Parking & Traffic Office will review these waivers as they are received.

To qualify for an employment waiver, students will be required to show proof that they are working 12 or more hours per week. Upon initial application, a signed letter from the student’s employer will be required to show that the employee intends to work 12 or more hours per week. After 30 days, a pay stub will be required to verify this. Verification will be done several times throughout the academic year to maintain eligibility. Employment that does not produce a pay stub will not be eligible for this waiver.

Please submit all necessary documentation below when applying for employment or educational-based waivers.

If applying for a medical waiver, you will be contacted by the Center for Accessibility Services for any additional documentation needed. Do not upload any medical documents below.

As the Parking & Traffic Office does not conduct business on the weekends, voicemail messages should not be considered a form of approval, and parents or guardians SHOULD NOT send their student back to campus with a vehicle without speaking directly with the Parking and Traffic Office personnel.

The Parking & Traffic Office will not issue a temporary pass or parking decal to a freshman or sophomore resident student for any duration unless their waiver request has been approved by either the Parking & Traffic Office or the Center for Accessibility Services.

Those approved with less than 30 credits will be issued a white decal and will be required to park in Lot 12 at all times; failure to park at this assigned lot will result in a citation and potential restriction of parking eligibility in the next academic year. Those with 30 or more credits will be issued a green decal and will be able to park in any green parking lot.

Approval of the Freshman or Sophomore parking waiver does not waive the cost of the parking permit. The fee for a parking permit is $400 for the academic year or $200 for one semester.

Currently, we are only accepting waiver requests for First-year students and students with fewer than 30 completed credits. All waiver requests for Sophomore students may be sent in on August 5, after the lottery is run. Please monitor your email for updates.
