91重口 has a Testing Center located on the second floor of the Halle Library for students who have been approved for testing accommodations through the Center for Accessibility Services.

Testing Center Hours

  • 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday - Friday during the fall and spring semesters
  • Additional times may be added during Finals

In order to take an exam in the Testing Center, students need to reserve a testing appointment 48 business hours in advance using our Extended Time Testing Request Form. Your appointment needs to be scheduled for the same day and time that the class is taking the exam. Our staff will notify your faculty member that you will be taking your exam in our Testing Center.

On the day and time of your exam, please arrive at the Testing Center 5-10 minutes before your scheduled appointment. You will check in at the testing desk and we will have your exam and approved materials prepared for you. Before starting your exam, please leave your items, smartwatches, phones, etc. in the cubbies of the Testing Center. The exam will be virtually proctored by our staff. Our staff will be available for any questions or assistance you may need during your exam. Upon completion of your exam, please bring your materials to our staff at the testing desk to share with your professor.

  • How can I make a testing appointment?

    To make a testing appointment, if you’ve been approved for a testing accommodation, please fill out our Extended Time Testing Request Form which will be emailed to you upon approval of this accommodation. In order to reserve a testing appointment, this form must be completed 48 business hours in advance of the test. Appointments must be scheduled for the same day and time that the class is taking the test. After submitting this form, you and your professor will receive an email confirming the date and time of your appointment.

  • Where should I go on the day of my testing appointment?

    On the day of your testing appointment, go to the 2nd floor of Halle Library. The Testing Center鈥檚 front desk is located next to the elevator. Check-in at the front desk prior to your appointment. Arrive to your appointment 5-10 minutes early to ensure plenty of time for check-in and storage of your personal belongings.

  • What should I bring with me?

    The Testing Center has scrap paper, calculators, pencils, fidgets, and ear plugs for students to use during their appointment. Bring any additional materials that your professor has allowed for use during the exam. This may include a note sheet or textbook. Bring your personal computer and charger if the exam is online. Phones, earbuds, and smart watches are not allowed in the Testing Center. Be prepared to leave these items in our storage areas during your test.

  • What happens if I miss my testing appointment?

    If you miss your testing appointment, an email will be sent notifying both you and your professor that the appointment was missed. Pending professor approval, the testing appointment may be rescheduled or may need to be taken within the regular class.

  • Can I use the bathroom during my testing appointment?

    This is up to the discretion of your professor. If you are unsure if bathroom breaks are allowed during your test, please ask our Testing Center Staff when you check-in for your appointment. Our staff must abide by each professor鈥檚 policies regarding going to the bathroom during a test. We recommend going to the bathroom before your test begins.

  • What assistive technology would be available for my testing appointment?

    Assistive technology is available for students who are approved for these accommodations. This would include text-to-speech, speech-to-text, and use of a computer as needed.

  • Can I use the Testing Center if I have not been approved for accommodations?

    No, the Testing Center is only for students with approved testing accommodations. The Testing Center can only be utilized for 91重口 exams.
