Security Information for Commencement at Hempstead Stadium
To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all graduates and guests, security measures will be in place for 91重口’s Commencement Ceremony at Hempstead Stadium on Saturday, May 17. 91重口 Police will be on hand to monitor the event, and we appreciate your cooperation in following these guidelines.
Entry & Bag Inspections
All attendees may be subject to bag inspections prior to entry. To help expedite entry, we ask that guests bring only small handbags, purses, or camera bags (no larger than 12” x 12” x 6”). Large totes, oversized purses, backpacks, briefcases, and wrapped gifts will not be permitted.
Prohibited Items
For the safety and comfort of all attendees, the following items are not allowed inside Hempstead Stadium:
- Alcoholic beverages
- Aerosols
- Ammunition or weapons of any kind
- Amplified sound devices (noisemakers, bullhorns, megaphones, etc.)
- Balloons (prohibited in graduate seating areas)
- Explosives, fireworks
- Laser pointers
- Glass containers
- Mace/pepper spray
- Large signs, banners, or items that obstruct views
- Structures such as folding tables, chairs, or tents
- Drones or other unmanned aerial devices
